If your child opens up, that's an excellent sign of your relationship! Praise your child for doing the right thing by talking to you about bullying. Remind your child that he or she isn't alone and emphasize that it's the bully who is behaving badly, not your child. Reassure your child that you will figure out together. Being a calm and loving presence is sometimes the most help.
